Architecture review of the MiniBee TRL3
The Mini-Bee project is a collaborative effort between students from ESTACA 5A ASA and Technoplane aimed at designing an ultra-light multidisciplinary aircraft with a price range between 250,000 and 300,000 euros. The project involves the creation of a suitable architecture for the current design that includes lightening, mechanical stability, equipment, and layout. A 3D model and digital mockups were created to aid in rapid prototyping. The report also includes a functional summary, powertrain chain, safety, mountability, electronics, and structure details. The project utilizes an aluminum alloy 2024 structure with the mecano-riveted method of fastening. The mini-bee aircraft features a custom-designed exhaust system and a fuel tank with a volume of 120L. The project is designed to be transportable in two LD3 containers.
